Hey Canada! It's a rough day today... so we'd like to share a brief reminder of how much we love and support our country, and those who have fought so bravely to secure our freedom, our rights and our privileges.
A few years ago, we collaborated with super-talented Canadian artist Erica Dornbusch and Phoenox, the makers of Hug Rug to design and produce the "COLOURS of CANADA" mat and runner Hug Rug set. Our vision was for this mat to welcome and convey our gratitude to and for Canadian veterans.
To date, Madmatters has donated over 50 "COLOURS of CANADA" Hug Rugs to worthy veterans non-profits, specifically, @HomesforHeroesCalgary and Veteran's Elite Canines and individually, to vets we meet personally along our travels.
