Wooden Stretcher Bars for Rug Punching
1" 1/2" x 3/4" thick
Bars come in packs of two pieces - you need to order 2 packs for a frame
Sizing - the measurements are from the outside, so take off 3" to get inside measurement ie 10" frame gives you a 7" square
You can mix and match to get the size you need.
These pieces fit tightly together giving you a nice frame that you can staple your monk's Cloth or Linen to. Staple to the front to get a full covered piece look or staple to back side to provide a permanent frame to your work. The basswood can be easily stained or use chalk paint to give you frame some colour.
